Noosa is a beautiful location if you are thinking about getting married. The scenery is breathtaking. You can elect to choose a setting by the beach, a place by the river or you can venture into the Noosa hinterland for your Noosa wedding venue.
Noosa Wedding Ceremony Beaches and Parks
One of the great things about Noosa is that all beaches and parks are available for ceremonies, with the exception of the area on Noosa Main Beach between First Point and Middle Groyne.
If you want to use one of Noosa’s parks or beaches then you need to apply to Noosa Council for a permit if you want to use any of these areas.
If your preferred choice for your Noosa wedding venue is in the Noosa National Park or Tewantin National Park then you need to apply for a permit with the QLD Department of National Parks, Sport and Racing.

Beach – based Noosa Wedding Ceremony Venues:
First Point, Main Beach: weddings with up to 40 guests
Little Cove Deck: weddings with up to 15 guests only. Very limited parking available
Seahaven Reserve: on Hastings Street at the end of the boardwalk in front of the Seahaven resort. Suitable for up to 70 guests
Maison La Plage Grove: in front of Maison Noosa Resort on Hastings Street
Hidden Grove: in front of Sandcastles Resort
Casuarina Gardens: past Hidden Grove towards Noosa Groyne. Suitable for all weddings
The Groyne: left of Casuarina Gardens. Up to 50 guests.
River Noosa Wedding Ceremony Venues:
Riverside at the end of Hastings Street. Suitable for all weddings
Noosa Spit: River or beach settings available. At the end of Noosa Woods. Suitable all types of weddings.
Riverside Grove: Secluded area on Noosa Spit. Suitable for all types of weddings.
Botanic Gardens – Noosa Wedding Ceremony Venues:
Noosa Botanic Gardens are at Lake Macdonald, towards Cooroy. the Noosa Botanic gardens has a Greek inspired amphitheatre that overlooks the lake and gardens.
Marina – Noosa Wedding Ceremony Venues:
Boardwalk and jetties, with riverfront restaurants
Noosaville Wedding Ceremony Venues:
Chaplin Park: Located in Noosaville, Chaplin Park is opposite the Noosa Yacht & Rowing Club. It is a large space with plenty of ceremony options.
